courage is that fine and slim line between fear and recklessness
dare is magic
fear is dark and cold
courage is the fire that is born within and spreads out, or rather flows out from our inner spring to burn down fear. most of the time we see fear as an enemy. oh, not again. hard to breath.
still, fear is a friend, a reminder to stay awake and conscious; a call that we’re not safe and we need to be present. such a lucky present when you set off to drive for the first time alone.
then recklessness is the burning eyed always thirsty beast, which wants more and more of that sweet taste of victory that courage offers after passing through fear… better not to give in, as it can risk a life.
sometimes we’re dragged, or pushed. sometimes we choose and dare on our own to face fear. whichever way we arrive, dare is the golden string. for fear cannot be beaten: if you fight against it, it gets larger, deeper and full of gloomy doubts and “what if”-s. driving further away from reality.
recognise, acknowledge, and face fear. welcome it as a good old friend who tells you where to be cautious. dare to cross: dare to pass. victory awaits beyond, on the other side of fear, where fear dissolves like a cloud on a dry, sunny day.
