Postcards #58 from a dawn

There’s nothing better than finish something you had on your to-do list, especially when it’s an article or something to write. Then to escape to a movie or to a concert, get yourself some drinks with the best company. Get grumbled in the cinema by an old lady before the movie starts, notice that she feels like someone who has some bad manners, don’t give a f**k and enjoy the movie while you notice that the old lady definitely has some issues, and feel compassionate. She has to be with herself for 24/7.

It feels like a dawn, a dawn after a long-long-L O N G and very dark night. And it started with Sophie Hunger yesterday. If you can catch her playing live with her band, do yourself a favor: go and see them. She’s amazing, fresh, sweet and sour, rock and indie, and surprise. Gestures. Poses. Lights. Trust me, you don’t want to miss her.

Go and find your personal dawn, finish something, start new things, but before that, finish the night, whatever is the “night” for you. There’s no dawn without passing through the dark.

xx
